Module 1: Part 21 Design
The aim of this module is give a fundamental knowledge of Initial airworthiness legislation and how it impacts aircraft design and design changes. It will introduce the student to the theory and practice of Initial Airworthiness, providing a detailed knowledge of the development process for major and minor aircraft modification and repairs.
Module 2: Continued Airworthiness Management Organisation
The aim of this module is to provide an opportunity to students to develop a detailed knowledge of the range of responsibilities of a CAMO department and Maintenance Planning Group, which include the delivery of the aircraft maintenance work package to ensure the aircraft remains fully compliant with the Maintenance Program. On successful completion of this module the student will be capable of completing a Lease Transition CAMO project which includes Induction, Management and Delivery.
Module 3: Aircraft Records
The aim of this module is to provide an opportunity for students to develop a detailed knowledge of the aircraft technical documentation required during the aircraft lease transition process. They will be able to devise a structure, plan and accomplish the Lease Transition checklist requirements, ensuring no documentation gaps within the aircraft’s history. They will be able to evaluate, report and provide feedback during the process, working with the Lessor and Lessee to manage expectations and achieve a successful redelivery of all required documentation.
